SUDA planted three orchards in 2012-13, one on campus, one at Elmhurst Community Prep/Alliance and another at Stonehurst totaling over 60 trees. In 2013-14 SUDA will plant additional street trees at these three sites. Also, SUDA is developing a plant and tree propagation center and nursery.
Afterschool program where designers and architects work with students to evaluate and assess the sustainability of the school and create design projects to becoming more sustainable.

Developing “fablab” or fabrication lab that will house 3D printers, computer aided design routers, CNC cutters and a host of advanced manufacturing tools.
1000 sq. ft. former shooting range on campus that has been converted to a SMART aquaponics production facility where fish are used to grow food.
